At least for me, I have a couple dozen years of DB experience but robot, given performance metrics, can get really close to optimal on a tactical level (single query or pattern of queries) but can't yet do the full normalize/denormalize level of improvements without supervision. But really solid if you have one misbehaving query and give it explain analyze access on a read only account

I remember watching news reports about acid rain in the 90s and being terrified that any ominous rain cloud might be full of acid rain which would melt away my town and family.
Not sure what you mean by toast bread, but you can't beat a good grilled cheese sandwich. My wife just makes them out of a cheap brioche bread with cheddar and American cheese. They're great when dipped in a tomato soup.
Then I have to deal with whichever random person they decide to send. I can't be the only one who finds this annoying (even if I'm not in the majority).

What constraints? What right practices? What ideal combo? Maybe this whooshed over your head but I was sarcastically pointing out that just because you can do something doesn't mean it's a reasonable engineering practice or, uh, an "ideal combo."
